IT Support Specialist to join our Contigo Health IT department to support our different internal teams in resolving technical problems, ensuring users have the correct access, providing monitoring/support to Contigo Health’s automation ecosystem as well as IT maintenance activities. The responsibilities of an IT Support Specialist include responding to technical queries and issues, resolving problems in a timely manner, and providing technical recommendations.
To be successful as an IT Support Specialist, you should be able to provide exceptional customer service and perform user administrative responsibilities efficiently. Ultimately, a good IT Support Specialist should be able to display excellent problem-solving skills and a solid knowledge of IT solutions.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintains high degree of understanding of departmental business processes.
- Supports major Contigo Health enterprise applications and others as assigned.
- Provide 2nd Level Application Support for the Contigo Health Applications
- Adding/Updating/Removing Application access for the Contigo Health Applications
- Monitor/Update Automation Jobs and Schedule
- Provide backup support for the EDI coordinator. Ensure EDI files are received/processed/prepared/sent.
- Leads escalation of issues with appropriate resources.
- Supports/troubleshoots inbound/outbound interfaces as appropriate.
- Participates in change management activities to support successful system deployments and enhancements.
- Establishes effective working relationships with end users, IT, and department leaders.
What we’re looking for:
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:Years of Applicable Experience – 2 or more years
Skills & Experience: Desktop Application Support, Microsoft Office
Education:High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Windows and Linux experience preferred
- Experience working with EDI files
- Experience in third party administrator (TPA) or in a healthcare setting
- Experience in having to work independently
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $43,000 – $79,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
