The Position: We’re looking for an Equipment Lease & Finance Transaction Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible to audit documentation and fund specialty transactions ensuring compliance with credit policies and document requirements. Maintain, strengthen relationships, and provide the highest level of customer service with Umpqua Bank Associates of all levels, lessees, and vendors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Audits all assigned transactions for accuracy, including contract documents, invoices, required insurance and other documentation ensuring compliance with UBELF credit approval and company policies. 
  • Maintains workflow to ensure compliance with UCC filings, OFAC, and insurance requirements. 
  • Sets up and Books new contract files into the appropriate database.  Organize files according to standard filing procedures.
  • Follow up with any outside sources needed to obtain complete insurance information as needed.
  • Accurately completes pre-payment worksheets for all transactions.
  • Processes purchase order requests from vendor.
  • Review new document packages and completed funding packages for Transaction Coordinator I’s
  • Accurately completes and submits wires, ACH’s and check requests to Accounting for release of payment to all lessees and vendors in a timely manner.
  • Assist Sales team in setting up new Capital Market partners to purchase/sell transactions.
  • Demonstrates compliance in assigned job function and maintains confidentially of all company information.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

 Requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
  • Documentation and funding experience within the equipment leasing and finance industry is required. Preferably in middle market transactions.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting Credit approvals is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

 We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary and comprehensive benefits. The annualized range for this role is $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 , and the pay rate for the successful applicant depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and education. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
