Maximus is currently looking for Report Tracking Specialists to join our Veterans Evaluation Services team. This is a remote opportunity. The Report Tracking Specialist keeps track of pending team items and reaches out to the medical provider to discuss any outstanding items when required.
Job Description Summary
The primary responsibility of a Report Tracking Specialist (“RTS”) is to follow- up with VES Providers to obtain completed Compensation and Pension (“C&P”) examination reports. The RTS must maintain frequent contact with Providers via email and telephone to ensure the timely submission of C&P Reports after the exam date has lapsed.
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep track of all exams Pending Transcribed Report, Pending Addendum response, VA Returns not yet addressed by the Provider, Pending Medical Records Review, and Pending Diagnostic Review;
- Follow up on these exams by contacting the Provider every 24 hours, either by email or phone, and leave an informative, pertinent case comment reflective of the case status;
- Inform Dr. Middeldorf, Scott Orr, and the appropriate RCD for the purposes of escalation when a provider is not in compliance with our timeliness guidelines; and
- Provide other departments with an accurate appraisal of a case’s status when requested.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain Provider web upload folder – send off to diagnostics to upload or transcribe;
- Transcribe provider’s reports;
- Adapt to new instructions, requests or procedures as provided;
- Work closely with Quality Analysts to obtain reports from high priority exams; and
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, general internet research, and beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma required.
