Job Summary: To provide clinical assessment and ongoing mental health therapy services for children, adolescents, adults or families via a secure web-based platform. This opportunity is in the state of North Carolina and it is a remote position. It can be part-time or full-time to work evening and/or weekend hours.

Licensing Requirements: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Education & Experience

Children/Adolescents: At least 2 years of experience

Continuing Education: Complete continuing education to maintain applicable licensure

Professional Development experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to provide mental health therapy services to individuals across the lifespan, with special focus on children, adolescents and families

Complete thorough intake assessments, including DSM diagnosis and clinical rationale for mental health therapy

Develop strong rapport with patient and parents/guardians during the assessment process and maintain rapport throughout the therapeutic process

Demonstrate strong knowledge of, and ability to utilize, a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, art therapy, expressive therapies and play therapy for children and adolescents

Understand the importance of the family system and appropriate involvement of parents/guardians in the treatment of their children via family therapy and parent coaching

Completion of all documentation within the timeline determined by DotCom Therapy in a clinically professional and comprehensive manner, including assessments, treatment plans, progress/SOAP notes, discharge reports and any additional documentation required in order to patients to receive services (often outlined by payer source or partnership organization)

Maintain the flexibility to adapt/modify the patient’s treatment plan and intervention utilized to best provide an effective individualized approach

Willingness to demonstrate innovation, flexibility and adaptability when translating in-person therapy techniques to teletherapy

Engage with Clinical Manager and colleagues when clinical issue arise and consultation is needed

Actively participate in group supervision, provide clinical feedback to colleagues and receive feedback as well

Comply with DotCom Therapy’s Mental Health Emergency Protocol

Utilize a web-based platform for delivery in therapy services

Understand and follow code of ethics and scope of practice outlined by the applicable governing body

Adhere to HIPAA regulations, including The Privacy Rule and The Security Rule.

Adhere to HIPAA privacy safeguards related specifically to mental and behavioral therapy and teletherapy

Adhere to DCT Standards of Practice Manual

Maintain up-to-date and consistent schedule in Google Calendar

Blog, hashtag, and post on media outlets on areas of clinical expertise in collaboration with marketing team as desired

Utilize Slack for communication, collaboration and team building

Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: $40-50 per hour
