About the team
We are looking for a highly organized, detailed, customer-centric all-star to join our growing People Operations team as the People Operations Coordinator! This team is dedicated to employee service and we are passionate about our culture, our people, and our products. The People Operations team keeps the wheels in motion for Zillow Group. We strive to deliver exceptional customer service to candidates, new hires, employees, and managers, and we execute on efficient processes, resulting in more consistent data and insights.
About the role
This role will be responsible for general administrative duties including but not limited to; responding to general employee questions in a timely manner, responding to HR voicemails, and maintaining employee files.
Maintain the People Operations ServiceNow ticketing queue (prioritize, categorize, update status) and resolve tickets within 24-72 hour Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Serve as the first point of contact for candidate, new hire, employee, and manager inquiries, which may include onboarding, benefits, Workday, and company policies & procedures. Utilize various resources to ensure that a complete and accurate answer is provided. Direct internal customers to additional resources, including documented information, reference materials and self-service tools. Escalate issues when necessary.

Coordinate transactional-based tasks: Prepare and complete time-sensitive documents, forms, letters, and paperwork accurately and route to appropriate teams for further processing in a timely manner.

Prepare offboarding documents and paperwork.

Respond to and complete employment verifications and unemployment claims.

Apply the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information & employee and candidate records.

Assist with administration of HR programs, policies, and processes to improve our overall employee experience.

Demonstrate strong ability to effectively partner with other teams and operations.

Perform other duties or special projects of a similar nature as assigned.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $22.40 – $33.60 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
Strong customer service, communication (written and verbal), attention to detail, and time management skills; track record of accuracy

Must be highly organized and self-motivated

Ability to prioritize and recognize immediate needs

Proven track record of picking up new processes, systems, and office support technology

Strong teamwork skills and able to recognize when to jump in when others need help

Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing in a professional and effective manner

Must be comfortable maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality
