Effective October 2022 minimum wage will be increased to $20 per hour.

Summary of Job:

The Reservations Lead Agent assists in the daily supervision and operations of the Reservations call center. Facilitates the successful operation of the department’s functions by managing call volume, providing agent assistance, handling guest issues, and working with both internal and external departments to provide an Experience of a Lifetime to our guests.

This position will support the Eagle County Reservations team servicing guests in Vail and Beaver Creek.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and support a team of remote call center reservations agents through coaching and training to increase knowledge and performance.
Demonstrate an unyielding passion for the guest experience, culture, mission and vision by troubleshooting and resolving guest and partner issues in a timely and mutually beneficial outcome.
Manage call volume to achieve departmental goals including assisting agents, communicating with backup resources, and taking backup calls while following an established sales process to convert bookings.
Communicate with guests, employees, and other departments in a positive, productive and efficient manner while delivering excellent and personalized customer service.
Provide feedback to management regarding both positive and negative issues impacting department performance.
Inspire trust and build strong relationships across business units such as Front Desks, Guest Services, Mountain Operations (Ski School, VRR, Ticket Office), Call Centers (GSD, CSS, SalesOps), Reservations Fulfillment Services, the Training Department, and Third Party Suppliers.
Assist with updates and maintenance of Confluence knowledge base to keep our team up to date and proficient with our products, services and policies.

Job Requirements:

College degree preferred
Call center, hospitality or sales experience required.
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Data entry
MS Office Suite
Property management software experience preferred—Inntopia, Guest Connect
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
Must live within 3 hours driving distance from one of Vail Resort’s U.S. resorts & within a state Vail Resorts’ operates.

Strong computer skills. Must be able to work on the phone and computer for long periods of time.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Exceptional time management with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
High level of interpersonal communication and a focus on customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Prior experience working and/or learning in a remote environment (from-home) preferred.
Familiarity with any or all of Vail Resorts preferred.

Technical Job Requirements:
Vail Resorts provides specific equipment required to perform this role; including virtual desktop terminal, keyboard and mouse, second monitor, telephone and headset, webcam, and Ethernet cable.

The budgeted range starts at $20.75 – $21.59. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
