We are looking for a Senior Collections Specialist – Blueground for Business to join our team in the US and focus exclusively on our B2B accounts. You will work for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable from existing enterprise clients across Blueground in the US aiming at reducing accounts receivable delinquency. You will partner with the Blueground for Business team in the US to support the onboarding of new clients and setting up their payment structures. You will also ensure that all collection activity is handled professionally, timely, and in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and state and federal guidelines.
What you will focus on:
- Actively reach out to enterprise clients via phone or email to ensure timely collection of rent
- Support new account onboarding by setting up payment processes with enterprise client’s Accounts Payable teams, implementing an efficient workflow with them, and ensuring timely payments.
- Partner with the cities, Sales, Legal, and Collections to continuously improve our payment and collection processes
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
- Review and resolve client-billing problems and reduce accounts receivable delinquency according to collection plans
- Work with channel partners on settling damages and other fees
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of prior high volume collection/accounts receivable experience
- B2B collections experience required
- Real estate/rent collections and/or consumer credit collections background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong team player
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service attitude
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel, & Word
- Ability to effectively multitask and work with multiple accounts
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to collection activities
