Reporting into the Manager of Wholesale Operations, this role will be responsible for ensuring on-time and in-full fulfillment of all our retail orders. They will ensure we deliver high-quality products that align with our brand and meet our wholesale partners’ expectations upon receipt. The Wholesale Operations Specialist will provide clear communication between the Wholesale Operations team and our colleagues in the fulfillment center, as role that will be pivotal to our continued success in the retail space. The successful candidate will enjoy rolling up their sleeves to make an impact and deliver results resourcefully.

The Role

  • Review all new retailer orders for accuracy, including timing, quantities and inventory availability. Document and discuss any concerns with the appropriate Wholesale Operations team member.
  • Tracks all retail orders from shipment through delivery, maintaining a record of BOLs and PODs to help address vendor chargebacks as efficiently as possible
  • Addresses vendor chargebacks by providing documentation to retailers necessary to dispute and reverse charges
  • Ensures all outbound retail order quantities are accurately recorded in forecasting documents to track inventory consumption
  • Confirms all outbound shipments with retailers via EDI or other methods, providing them with any required paperwork such as packing lists or BOLs
  • Creates packing lists, bills of lading, pallet or carton labels as needed and shares with warehouse
  • Juggles several major retailer orders on a weekly basis and establishes a highly organized process
  • Communicates professionally and effectively through all mediums with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Use your technical skills to look for and implement improvements in templates used to generate PO specific documents and tools.

About You

  • 1-2 years of work experience, preferably with some in operations or supply chain.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and navigate through various systems and tools.
  • Heavily experienced in Excel – including the ability to create pivot tables, vlookups, index matching and other helpful functions
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfort with learning new technologies
  • Knowledge of EDI helpful
  • Knowledge of supply chain/freight documents packing lists, carton labels, pallet labels, Bills of Lading, etc
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions
