Overview
This position is responsible for facilitating the retrieval of charts by working with third party Health Information Handling (HIH) Vendors. The Vendor Management Coordinator will provide the highest quality customer service to CIOX Health internal and external customers. The Vendor Management Coordinator works directly with existing vendors and ensure all responses follow approved company and HIPAA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must be able to work independently responding to changing priorities and role needs
- Maintain working knowledge of Company software
- Manage inbound/outbound calls in a timely manner
- Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and policies and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required
- Schedule weekly meeting with Vendors to go over updates and inventory
- Runs detailed reports and prioritize the work on daily basis
- Work side by side with the finance department to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner
- Oversee invoicing and payments, reporting, and other administrative functions to ensure successful execution of initiative in collaboration with business partners in Finance
- Communicate internal goals with their vendor(s)
- Communicate any vendor issues and challenges with CIOX Health Account Management team
- Responsible to meet and or exceed company set performance goals
- Maintain emails and correspondence within a timely manner
- Must be a team player and willing to adapt to change
- Handles complex issues and problems and possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter
- Monitor project progress and update status reports and forecast to reflect changes
- Ability to manage large inventory volumes, resolve problems and adapt to changing situations
- Provide feedback on continuous improvements on process and technology development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 12 months of HIH experience is required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Telephone skills including the ability to speak clearly with a pleasant and professional tone
- Intermediate computer skills including Windows based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to perform other basic computer functions
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
