Alight Solutions is seeking motivated professionals interested in becoming a key member liaison as a support advocate in the growing senior health care market. Retention Advocates (Tier 1) assist retirees and Medicare beneficiaries that have enrolled into a plan with us. Alight provides all training required to be successful in this role, including ongoing guidance and assistance. This role will partner with licensed agents, as needed to support members.
Role/employment requirements:
- Experience in sales, customer service, or call center environment
- Willingness to learn
- Intuitive, resourceful, and able to demonstrate learning agility
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Patience and empathy for the senior consumer
- Adhere to industry guidelines and procedures (CMS Compliance Guidelines)
- Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week (9am 6pm Eastern Time)
- Ability to work some overtime during peak season (mid Oct mid Dec)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of employment background check
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
Role Responsibilities:
- Successfully complete initial training
- Conduct follow up outbound reach and receive inbound calls from senior consumer policy holders (those holding a variety of Medicare products from various carriers).
- Help identify and address any issues or concerns to gauge consumer satisfaction.
- Assist with basic needs such as scheduling appointments, updating account information, coordinating benefits, etc.
- Coordinate for transfer to/call back from a licensed agent, when required.
- Comply with Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and State legal requirements and standards.
- Meet or exceed monthly retention goals
- Successfully complete licensing program (to become a Licensed Health Insurance Agent) within six months time frame
