About New Directions: The Company provides a variety of different types of court-ordered assessments (or evaluations) for substance abuse, behavioral issues, and mental health challenges. Typically, an individual within the criminal justice system or family court will be required by a judge or recommended by their attorney to obtain an assessment. Often, the assessment is used to support a criminal defense or even to determine the outcome of a court case.
Job Purpose: The Client Intake Specialist role is a blend of customer service, consulting, and inside sales. Specialists are responsible for helping clients select the right assessment for their unique situation and for scheduling the evaluation with a professional treatment provider. The inside sales portion of this role involves making outbound calls to individuals/leads who have expressed interest in our products and want to learn more.
Key Accountabilities:
- Inside Sales administrative and customer service support including:
- Answering inbound calls
- Onboarding new clients
- Processing credit card payments
- Managing information & data according to HIPAA guidelines
- Fielding service related inquiries & explanation of assessment products
- Scheduling support tasks including:
- Pairing clients with available assessors
- Scheduling appointment times; rescheduling as needed
- Communicating with assessors to ensure an effective handoff of the client
- Outbound Sales responsibilities such as:
- Outbound calling to new leads
- Communicate value propositions (primarily via phone and text)
- Close deals
- Cross-sell related services as directed
- Manage active and timely follow up on all leads
- Use tools to disposition and note customer accounts appropriately
- Determine what department a non-qualified lead will need to be transferred to
- Efficiently navigate multiple technology systems (web phone, scripts/forms, chat, CRM, document management tool, payment processing) concurrently
- Work with management on an ongoing basis to improve performance
- Understand the entire sales process, from lead creation to closing
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional familiarity with Office 365, MS Excel and MS Office
- 3+ Years of customer service or inside sales experience
- Must be a self-starter and exhibit problem solving skills
- Must be able to display a friendly and helpful disposition and have proven stable work history
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to details
- Experience in the medical field with HIPPAA compliance a plus
