🧾 About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you’re the go-to clinical guide for members navigating screenings, preventive care, and benefit coverage. You’ll be fielding calls, reviewing plan documents, and helping members and providers understand their options—while also contributing to marketing and awareness efforts. It’s a role that blends people skills, medical knowledge, and resourceful support.

📋 What You’ll Own
Member Support: Guide members through screenings, preventive care, and program usage
Provider Liaison: Respond to clinical inquiries, second-opinion questions, and treatment guidance
Plan Reviews: Analyze plan documents and create benefit summaries for internal teams
Coverage Notices: Provide protocol documentation for specialties like oncology or physical therapy
Follow-Ups: Ensure timely updates to members and proper resolution of pending items
Compliance: Maintain accurate logs for legal and analytical tracking
Awareness Campaigns: Collaborate on infographics and content for key health months (e.g. Breast Cancer Awareness)
Outreach Strategy: Suggest ways to market or serve the member base more effectively
Project Involvement: Tackle special initiatives that support the mission
Misc. Tasks: Jump in where needed with admin or cross-functional support


🎯 What You Bring
• Prior experience as a Care Coordinator, Case Manager, or similar healthcare role
• Strong clinical understanding of preventive care and treatment pathways
• Clear, compassionate communication across phone, email, and chat
• Confident handling of benefit documentation and provider/member questions
• Self-starter mindset with exceptional organization and detail-oriented thinking
• Comfortable managing documentation for HIPAA and legal standards


💡 Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Admin, or related field
• Experience with benefit plans, plan document reviews, and member education
• Background in content creation for healthcare awareness campaigns
• HIPAA certification
• Active USRN or NCLEX license
