Nira Medical is seeking a Lead Billing Specialist to drive operational excellence in claims submission and accounts receivable performance. As part of the Infusion & Revenue Cycle Management team, you’ll ensure billing accuracy for complex physician and ancillary services—including infusion therapy, imaging, and physician-administered drugs. This full-time, remote role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and leadership qualities ready to elevate performance across the billing process.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead accurate, timely submission of primary and secondary claims
• Identify and resolve claim discrepancies and incomplete submissions
• Review and interpret practice documentation to support billing integrity
• Support and coach billing team members on best practices and compliance
• Ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly AR and collection targets are met
• Utilize online payor portals, policy research, and escalation tools to secure payment
• Identify patterns of risk or process gaps and report findings to leadership
• Contribute to quality assurance reviews and documentation accuracy
• Perform additional duties aligned with revenue cycle strategy
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Strong background in medical billing—especially physician and infusion-related services
• Proven experience handling complex claims workflows
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with healthcare billing software, EMR systems, and digital submission tools
