Join Ventra Health, a leader in Revenue Cycle Management for anesthesia, hospital medicine, radiology, and more. As a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll help healthcare providers receive timely and accurate reimbursement—so they can focus on saving lives while you manage the numbers.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on rejections and denials to ensure timely claims resolution
- Handle appeals, inquiries, and complex claim issues with precision
- Identify and resolve denied or unpaid claims (coverage, medical records, authorizations)
- Recommend accounts for write-off and adjust as necessary
- Document all activities in patient accounts accurately
- Make outbound/inbound calls with payers as needed
- Respond to correspondence and EOBs to determine next actions
- Meet production and quality benchmarks
✅ What You Bring to the Team:
- 1+ year in medical billing and claims resolution preferred
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, modifiers, and COB
- Knowledge of EOBs and claim follow-up processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables) and billing systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, fully remote setting
- High school diploma or GED required
- AAHAM and/or HFMA certification is a plus
