Med-Metrix is hiring a remote Patient Account Representative to manage billing, insurance collections, and account follow-up for healthcare claims. You’ll play a key role in making sure claims are processed and paid correctly, working closely with insurance providers and healthcare systems—all from the comfort of your home.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle timely follow-up on outstanding claims via phone, email, and web portals
• Accurately bill services and correct errors on claims
• Verify patient and payer data; maintain accurate records
• Work with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers to ensure proper reimbursements
• Track underpayments, submit appeals, and analyze denial trends
• Maintain productivity, accuracy, and confidentiality standards
• Use systems like EPIC, STAR, EAGLE, and Microsoft Excel to manage workflows
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of experience in hospital/facility insurance collections
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPC codes, and UB-04
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid claim processing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and claims systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Medical Billing & Coding certification is a plus (not required)
