🧾 About the Role
OneSource Virtual (OSV) is looking for a Payroll Specialist III to serve as a senior-level expert within its Managed Payroll Services team. This role requires deep technical experience with Workday, complex payroll configuration, and high-level client support. You’ll be the go-to contact for premium clients and lead the payroll service lifecycle—from configuration to reconciliation to year-end processing.
✅ What You’ll Own
• Act as named lead for complex Managed Payroll clients
• Manage payroll issue resolution, SLA compliance, and client satisfaction
• Distribute client workload across the payroll team
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and process improvements on client escalations
• Run mock payrolls and service rehearsals with new clients
• Configure complex Workday payroll elements (e.g. pay components, run categories)
• Represent OSV on recurring client meetings and implementation calls
• Support year-end W2 processes and adjustments
• Assist Sales and Professional Services teams as a subject matter expert
• Mentor, train, and guide payroll team members

📚 Qualifications
Required:
• Associate’s degree
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or 15+ years of payroll and customer service experience
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, complex issue resolution, and compliance
• Advanced Excel and Word skills
• Experience with payroll taxes and year-end processing
Preferred:
• Workday Payroll experience
• Outsourcing or implementation experience
• Experience with Salesforce
• Knowledge of multi-jurisdiction tax regulations and payroll year-end adjustments
• Accounting or GL background
