📋 What You’ll Own
• Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
• Contact doctors to obtain medical documentation and information
• Manage workflow queues and process prior authorization requests
• Document all communications, patient information, and approvals thoroughly
• Ensure records contain required demographics, medication history, and payer details
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and ethical standards
• Assist other departments with prior authorization–related tasks as needed
🎯 What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED required
• CPhT certification and pharmacy tech license preferred (especially where state-required)
• Some college coursework preferred
• 2+ years in pharmacy support or a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts within department hours
• Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills
• Strong sense of ethics and adherence to regulatory compliance
