As a Refund Escalation Specialist, your expertise will directly impact our revenue cycle success and patient trust. Help us manage escalated credit balances, ensure accuracy, and streamline refund resolutions in a healthcare environment built on integrity and excellence.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Research and resolve credit balances and escalated refunds
- Analyze refund requests and resolve them per payer contracts and timely filing rules
- Communicate findings and trends to internal teams
- Ensure timely coordination with Finance and Client Success teams
- Upload check numbers and maintain refund documentation
- Investigate and correct returned refund checks
- Support audits, reporting, and special projects
✅ What You Bring to the Team:
- 2–3 years of healthcare payment posting experience
- Strong understanding of EOBs and insurance plan structures
- Analytical skills to identify trends and resolve discrepancies
- High-level attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Strong Excel, spreadsheet, and database proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent required
