Our client is looking for a detail-driven Collections Specialist who can manage and recover outstanding accounts with clarity, urgency, and empathy. You’ll handle 40+ claims a day, tackle overdue accounts head-on, and help reduce the A/R mountain one conversation at a time.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Monitor and manage billed accounts daily
• Track down outstanding receivables
• Review and investigate past-due balances
• Contact clients regarding overdue payments
• Tackle billing issues and get them resolved fast
• Follow up regularly to encourage timely resolution
• Prepare and deliver reports on collection status and progress
• Navigate the appeal process for commercial and workers’ comp claims
🎯 What You Bring
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical billing
• Familiarity with billing codes and appeal processes
• Strong case management understanding
• Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
• Clear, calm phone presence and effective email style
