Healthfirst is hiring a Support Coordinator to assist care and case managers with non-clinical activities that help support members’ care journeys. From managing authorizations to coordinating outreach and administrative follow-ups, you’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team working to improve healthcare outcomes. This role is fully remote and based in New York.
✅ Position Highlights
• Pay Range (Greater NYC area): $39,208 – $52,000 annually
• Pay Range (All other approved locations): $34,091 – $49,920 annually
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Location: Remote (New York-based applicants preferred)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Assist care managers by creating cases, managing authorizations, and completing telephonic outreach
• Coordinate with members, providers, and community-based organizations to support care delivery
• Respond to inquiries related to referrals, appointments, and health plan processes
• Document member information accurately while complying with HIPAA regulations
• Handle high-volume task queues and collaborate with multiple teams
• Monitor screenings and escalate urgent or complex needs appropriately
• Support internal procedures with accurate and timely communication
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in customer service or administrative support in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
