Symetra is hiring for two new remote positions in the Stop Loss Claims department: Claims Trainer and Process Owner. These roles focus on improving operations, driving training excellence, leading process upgrades, and championing strategic initiatives. ✅ Position Highlights
• Salary range: $77,600 – $129,400
• Full-time, remote role
• Eligible for annual bonus program

📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead training for new and current team members; update documentation and improve materials
• Support continuous improvement projects, process refinement, and compliance updates
• Act as a subject matter expert and cross-functional liaison
• Maintain claims databases, enhance data flow, and develop reporting tools
• Guide system enhancements, user acceptance testing, and documentation
• Deliver presentations, track project performance, and provide leadership with insights
• Represent the team at industry events and client-facing forums as needed
• Assist with claims processing during peak periods
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in stop loss insurance or related healthcare/claims environment
• Experience with process mapping, systems testing, and training delivery
• Familiarity with ESL or similar systems a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and project coordination skills
• Comfortable leading meetings, coaching others, and driving change
• Self-starter with strong analytical and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
