Symetra is hiring a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to lead sensitive workplace investigations and help build a more equitable, respectful work culture. You’ll handle high-level employee relations cases and play a critical role in maintaining trust, transparency, and legal compliance across the organization.

• Salary range: $77,600 – $129,400

📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead and document thorough workplace investigations
• Handle cases involving harassment, misconduct, and policy violations
• Work cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and Corporate Security
• Guide leaders on compliance and employment law
• Improve internal ER processes and training materials
• Analyze ER data and trends to recommend proactive solutions
• Contribute to broader culture, inclusion, and HR initiatives
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years in HR or Employee Relations, with deep knowledge of employment law
• Experience leading investigations and handling complex, sensitive situations
• High emotional intelligence and ability to build psychological safety
• Strong organizational and writing skills; able to juggle multiple cases
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; PHR a plus

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
