Virtua Health is seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll help ensure patients are efficiently scheduled for inpatient and outpatient procedures, while supporting communication and documentation across departments. You’ll be the voice and point of coordination behind the scenes—keeping everything running with care and precision.

• Hourly Rate: $18.16 – $26.95 (based on experience and internal equity)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Regular
• Remote Eligibility: AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, KY, MD, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV
• Shift: 1st Shift (Mon–Fri)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week

📋 What You’ll Own
• Schedule inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Communicate prep instructions and test requirements to patients and physicians
• Verify patient identity and match medical records accurately
• Handle high-volume communication with professionalism and clarity
• Coordinate the admission process and maintain accurate procedure data
• Maintain medical records and run reports as needed
• Support office inventory, equipment, and data systems
• Assist with onboarding new staff in scheduling workflows
• Provide unit coverage support when needed

• Prior experience in a medical clerical or administrative role
• Strong understanding of medical terminology
• Clear, professional verbal communication and phone presence
• Efficient and accurate data entry skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple databases and digital systems
