📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle inbound calls and faxes from members, doctors, and departments about prescription coverage
• Verify medication eligibility and prior authorization requirements
• Guide callers on alternative medications if original prescriptions are not covered
• Provide real-time status updates for prior authorization requests
• Review provider documentation and input data into systems with precision
• Follow up with healthcare providers as needed
• Maintain accuracy in fast-paced, multitasking scenarios
• Collaborate with your team while operating independently
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 1+ years healthcare, medical admin, or claims experience
• 2+ years customer service or call center experience
• Consistent work history (1+ years with previous employer)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare software
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Fluent in medical and healthcare terminology
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to focus in a remote, high-volume environment
• 100% training attendance (no time off in first 60 days)
💻 Remote Requirements
• Must provide:
– 19″ monitor (or larger) with VGA/HDMI port + cable
– USB wired mouse
– Reliable ethernet connection (25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload)
– Optional USB wired keyboard
