OneSource Virtual is looking for a Payroll Specialist III to take the lead on high-complexity managed payroll accounts. This senior-level role handles strategic payroll solutions, complex configuration, and escalated client needs. If you’re a CPP-certified pro who thrives under pressure and knows Workday payroll inside out, this is your lane.
✅ Position Highlights
• Full-time, fully remote
• Lead high-profile Managed Payroll accounts
• Work directly with C-level client contacts
• Tackle complex payroll configuration and year-end consulting
• Be the escalation point for service teams
📋 What You’ll Own
• Serve as the named lead for OSV’s most complex Managed Payroll clients
• Resolve escalated issues and lead root cause analysis and solution planning
• Lead service rehearsals, client calls, and mock payrolls
• Support and mentor payroll team members
• Configure advanced Workday payroll components
• Align with internal teams to ensure compliance and service-level excellence
• Maintain performance standards while supporting multiple deadlines
• Assist with new client onboarding and system implementations
• Contribute to sales and professional services support when needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Associate’s degree required
• CPP certification OR 15+ years of payroll experience with complex troubleshooting
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word skills
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, year-end processing, and compliance
• Proven experience working with demanding clients and high-pressure environments
💻 Preferred Skills
• Workday Payroll and Salesforce experience
• Background in multi-jurisdiction tax and year-end adjustments
• Outsourcing or implementation experience
• Accounting or general ledger knowledge
