CareCentrix is hiring multiple Patient Billing Representatives to join our remote team. You’ll be the go-to support for patients with billing questions, benefit breakdowns, and payment plans—making healthcare billing feel human, not confusing. • Full-time, Remote (U.S.-based)
• $17.50/hour + monthly bonus opportunities
• Start Date: Monday, August 25, 2025
• Paid training + nesting: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST
• Shift post-training: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM EST
• Equipment provided + stable, supportive team culture
📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle 30–35 inbound billing-related calls per day
• Explain balances, EOBs, payments, and benefit info to patients
• Investigate claim/payment status and clarify financial responsibility
• Offer support on outstanding balances, payment plans, and financial aid options
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in documentation and resolution
• Escalate complex issues as needed
• Uphold HIPAA and PHI confidentiality standards
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare or the medical industry
• Billing experience strongly preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to navigate dual monitors and multitask across systems
• 30+ WPM typing speed with active listening and data entry accuracy
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic browser navigation
