CareCentrix is hiring multiple Patient Billing Representatives to help support inbound calls from patients, providers, and health plan partners. You’ll assist with billing questions, explain benefits, and guide patients through payment options with empathy and efficiency. This is a high-volume, phone-based role ideal for professionals with healthcare and billing experience looking for a stable, remote position.

• $17.50/hour + monthly incentive bonuses

• 100% Remote (U.S. based)
• Paid training & nesting period: 4–6 weeks (M–F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST)
• Post-training shift: M–F, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST

📋 What You’ll Own
• Answer 30–35 inbound calls per day related to billing and benefit questions
• Research and resolve patient account issues
• Collect payments and offer financial assistance options
• Navigate dual monitors and multiple systems efficiently
• Ensure accurate, HIPAA-compliant call handling
• Escalate complex concerns and track resolution
• Meet individual call quality and contact center goals
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year call center customer service experience
• 1+ year healthcare or medical industry experience
• Billing experience strongly preferred
• Proficient with multi-screen navigation, Microsoft Office, and fast data entry (30+ WPM)
• Strong active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and able to handle high call volume professionally

• Must have reliable home internet and quiet workspace
• Ability to attend virtual training and use standard remote tools
• Comfortable working full-time from home on a fixed schedule
