As a Medication Adherence Specialist, youβll help patients stay on track with their medication regimens by conducting structured outreach calls, scheduling MTM services, and coordinating with prescribers and pharmacies. π What Youβll Own
β’ Make outbound calls using approved scripts to engage patients in medication adherence programs
β’ Educate patients on refill schedules and importance of medication compliance
β’ Identify non-clinical barriers to adherence (e.g., cost, forgetfulness, access)
β’ Coordinate refill requests, prescription renewals, and provider follow-ups
β’ Escalate clinical concerns, side effects, or complex questions to a pharmacist
β’ Schedule MTM appointments and handle inbound patient calls
β’ Document all interactions and outcomes in line with HIPAA and CMS protocols
β’ Provide customer service support via phone, email, and system notes
β’ Meet performance benchmarks related to attendance, productivity, and call quality

β’ 1+ year of relevant experience (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare call center, medication support)
β’ High school diploma or GED
β’ Active Pharmacy Technician License (in your state of residence, if required)
β’ National Certification (ExCPT or PTCB)
β’ Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality
