As a Medication Adherence Specialist, you’ll help patients stay on track with their medication regimens by conducting structured outreach calls, scheduling MTM services, and coordinating with prescribers and pharmacies. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Make outbound calls using approved scripts to engage patients in medication adherence programs
• Educate patients on refill schedules and importance of medication compliance
• Identify non-clinical barriers to adherence (e.g., cost, forgetfulness, access)
• Coordinate refill requests, prescription renewals, and provider follow-ups
• Escalate clinical concerns, side effects, or complex questions to a pharmacist
• Schedule MTM appointments and handle inbound patient calls
• Document all interactions and outcomes in line with HIPAA and CMS protocols
• Provide customer service support via phone, email, and system notes
• Meet performance benchmarks related to attendance, productivity, and call quality

• National Certification (ExCPT or PTCB)
• Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality
