Ascension is hiring a remote Exception Processor to support its Accounts Payable team. In this full-time, Monday–Friday position, you’ll help ensure timely and accurate vendor payments by resolving invoice issues and collaborating with business partners. You must reside in Indiana.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Research and resolve invoice exceptions to enable timely payment
• Apply 2-way and 3-way matching principles for invoice processing
• Process invoices using purchase orders
• Review supplier statements and correct open invoice discrepancies
• Use ERP platforms and tools such as G-Suite or Microsoft Office
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve complex issues
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (accounts payable, finance, etc.)
• Familiarity with invoice processing, purchase orders, and vendor communication
• Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Fast, accurate data entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and multi-screen navigation
• Experience working in a remote environment
