🧾 About the Role
Transamerica is seeking a detail-oriented Document Operations Plan Specialist to prepare and manage retirement plan documentation for 401(a), 401(k), 403(b), 457, and NQDC plans. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, legal teams, and internal departments to ensure plan compliance, accuracy, and alignment with client goals. This is a full-time position with the option to work from home.
✅ Position Highlights
• Salary: $46,000 – $53,000 annually (plus annual bonus eligibility)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Prepare plan documents, summaries, amendments, and funding materials for new and existing clients
• Consult with clients, advisors, and internal teams on plan design changes and compliance issues
• Review plan mergers, spin-offs, and terminations for accuracy and compliance
• Research specific plan design or compliance situations as assigned
• Develop IRS determination letter filing packages
• Ensure accuracy and congruence between documentation and system setups
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of pension/retirement plan or relevant financial services experience
• Strong knowledge of plan regulations and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
