Dane Street is looking for a detail-driven, empathetic Disability Customer Service Representative to support the intake and coordination of new disability claims. In this role, you’ll be the front line of communication—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency for each case while collaborating with internal teams and medical professionals. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Intake and verify new disability cases, ensuring accurate setup in the AccessDS system
• Liaise with clients to collect and confirm essential documentation
• Organize medical records and case data according to client and legal requirements
• Monitor and track case progress to meet deadlines and client expectations
• Assign appropriate physicians based on criteria including specialty, availability, jurisdiction, and conflict of interest
• Communicate proactively with clients regarding case status, documentation needs, and outcomes
• Maintain meticulous internal records and follow standardized protocols for case management
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Associate’s degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare, insurance, or administrative services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and critical thinking abilities
• High attention to detail, with comfort in data entry and case tracking
• Proficient in navigating digital systems and typing efficiently
• Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
• Comfortable with extended periods of computer-based work
