Ensemble Health Partners is hiring a full-time Denials Specialist to handle clinically related claim denials. You’ll analyze denials, coordinate appeals, review medical records, and ensure timely communication with insurance providers and internal healthcare teams. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Investigate denial reasons by contacting insurance companies
• Determine necessity for appeals and prepare appeal documentation
• Coordinate medical records and additional documentation for review
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and providers
• Submit appeals accurately and on time
• Communicate trends and outcomes with case management and HIM teams
• Perform other related duties as needed
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years of experience in denials, utilization review, or case management
• Knowledge of medical records, hospital operations, and chart audits
• Proficient at typing (35+ WPM)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Organized, deadline-driven, and collaborative
✨ Preferred Qualifications
• RN or background in a clinical discipline
• 2+ years of direct experience with healthcare denials or appeals
• Experience working with payers and provider relations
