Astrana Health is looking for a fluent Cantonese or Mandarin speaker to join their Member Services team as a Customer Service Representative. This full-time, remote role supports members, providers, and health plans through high-volume call handling, appointment assistance, and member outreach. Youβll be on the front lines of care coordination, ensuring every member interaction is handled with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

β’ Full-time, remote position aligned with a California-based department
β’ Work schedule: MondayβFriday, 8:30amβ5:00pm PST
β’ $20.00/hour pay rate
β’ Requires fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese
β’ Reports to: Liliana Felix
β’ Work-from-home with possible walk-in member support (if local)
β’ Based out of: 9700 Flair Drive, El Monte, CA (remote workers welcome)
π What Youβll Own
β’ Answer inbound calls from members, providers, hospitals, and brokers
β’ Handle inquiries regarding authorizations, claims, eligibility, and benefits
β’ Provide clear, respectful communication in English and Cantonese or Mandarin
β’ Assist with appointment scheduling, transportation, and provider assignments
β’ Manage documentation and ticketing in company CRM and internal systems
β’ Conduct outbound calls for follow-up, member outreach, and escalations
β’ Translate for DME or pharmacy needs (Spanish/Chinese)
β’ Resolve walk-in and phone-based member concerns with empathy and accuracy
β’ Support annual surveys, grievances, health diary logistics, and mail returns
β’ Participate in concierge services to help guide new members during IPA transfers
π― Must-Have Traits
β’ High school diploma or GED
β’ 1+ year of customer service or call center experience
β’ Fluency in either Cantonese or Mandarin (required)
β’ Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
β’ Excellent phone etiquette and problem-solving ability
β’ Comfortable discussing medical terminology and benefits
β’ Prior healthcare experience a strong plus
