Pie Insurance is on a mission to make commercial insurance affordable and easy for small businesses. As the Customer Service Manager, Vendor and Operations, you’ll oversee internal support teams across multiple insurance lines and lead efforts to evolve the service model. This role is equal parts process optimization, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. • 💵 Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 USD
• 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time

📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead and optimize Customer Service operations across internal and external teams
• Manage team structure, support segmentation, and policy adherence
• Set and track performance metrics and rep scorecards
• Model continuous improvement and build scalable, data-informed processes
• Analyze workflows to identify root causes and opportunities for change
• Build strong partnerships with WFM, Training, Quality, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Champion team development, set clear expectations, and conduct regular business reviews
• Contribute to a high-performance, customer-first culture across Pie
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years in customer service, with experience managing WFM, QA, or Training functions
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, evolving support environments
• Strong data skills (spreadsheets, basic modeling)
• Insurance industry experience highly preferred (multi-line, lifecycle understanding)
• Track record of managing outsourced vendor relationships
• Operational mindset with a focus on ownership, accountability, and empathy
• Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator
• Able to travel up to 20%
