🧾 About the Role
Microf is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collections Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing monthly renewals and maintaining positive customer relationships, ensuring our clients stay on track. You’ll be the friendly but firm voice on the other end of the line, handling inquiries, updating accounts, and securing payment arrangements. While this is a remote role, occasional travel to our Atlanta office may be required.

• Remote (U.S. based, with occasional in-office visits in Atlanta)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Deliver exceptional customer service and first-call resolution to all account holders
• Contact and engage customers in non-renewal status to secure valid payment arrangements
• Manage and update CRM records with accurate client data and correspondence logs
• Make timely contact with all newly assigned accounts within one business day
• Consistently meet outbound call quotas, EVPH metrics, and KPIs
• Participate in team meetings to share updates on account status
• Perform skip tracing when necessary
• Handle all other tasks as assigned
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 1–3 years of collections or customer service experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with billing and collections procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• High attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
• Calm and rational under pressure; strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Reliable time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
