Nira Medical is hiring a full-time Collections and Payments Specialist to support its Infusion & Revenue Cycle Management team. This role focuses on third-party payer collections, dispute resolution, and payment reconciliation for past-due health insurance claims. Your work ensures critical revenue flow for physician-administered drugs, imaging services, and more—helping sustain high-quality care for patients nationwide.

• Reports to Director of Revenue Cycle Management
• Supports physician and infusion drug services
• Combines collections, appeals, QA, and reconciliation tasks
📋 What You’ll Own
• Perform daily collection activities to recover overdue health insurance claims
• Meet and exceed cash collection and A/R targets
• Verify, document, and research claim disputes and payment delays
• Assist in appeals management and compliance tracking
• Engage in quality control efforts to ensure timely and accurate claim handling
• Monitor trends or recurring payer issues and flag them for escalation
• Negotiate payment arrangements, submit reports for review when needed
• Handle other revenue cycle support tasks as assigned
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Prior experience in physician office or infusion drug billing (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Skilled in prioritizing, multitasking, and independent follow-through
• Tech-comfortable with claim software and payer portals
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
