Natera is hiring a Clinical Assistant I / Revenue Claims Specialist for a 6-month, fully remote contract position—with potential to transition to full-time. This role is ideal for someone organized and detail-oriented who thrives in operations, billing, and data tracking. You’ll work directly with teams across genetic counseling, lab operations, and reimbursement to ensure clean claims and successful appeals.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Communicate with prior authorization, claims, and lab teams to resolve issues
• Collect and track data on claim outcomes, appeals, and reimbursements
• Review referrals, denials, and gather supporting documentation
• Support genetic counselors by updating LIMS case notes and handling provider inquiries
• Research and monitor billing and coding changes
• Assist with patient sample logistics and answer related questions
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• High School Diploma required; BA/BS in biology, life sciences, or healthcare preferred
• 2–3 years’ experience in biotech, insurance collections, or medical billing
• Familiarity with billing workflows, insurance claims, or appeals
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and CRM systems
