Beyond Finance is looking for a Client Retention Specialist to support and retain clients enrolled in our financial hardship programs. This role is ideal for professionals who know how to deescalate tense conversations, think on their feet, and guide people through emotionally and financially difficult situations with clarity and compassion. You’ll be a steady voice in uncertain times—helping clients see the value in continuing their debt-free journey.

• $19.00–$20.00 per hour + commission
• Full-time, Remote (must live in the 48 contiguous U.S. states)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle inbound calls from clients at risk of canceling their program
• Educate clients on the benefits and long-term value of the program
• Deescalate frustration and build trust through active listening and empathy
• Assess financial situations and offer realistic solutions
• Use CRM tools to track and manage client interactions and retention activities
• Meet and exceed retention targets through relationship-building and strategic negotiation
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Prior experience in Retention, Sales, or Collections – Required
• CRM proficiency and tech-savviness
• Calm under pressure with strong negotiation skills
• High call volume comfort and strong time management
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Adaptable to changing needs and committed to continuous learning
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree a plus

• Ability to work weekends as needed
