🧾 About the Role
PETA is looking for a detail-oriented Campaigns Project Coordinator to help power its nationwide activism engine. This role supports high-impact campaigns by managing logistics, coordinating tours, and keeping demonstrations on track from behind the scenes. It’s part research, part operations, and all heart.


✅ Position Highlights
• Hourly Pay Range: $17.35 – $21.45/hour (based on experience and location)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Thursday–Monday (Tues/Wed off)
• Remote: Fully remote with occasional travel

📋 What You’ll Own
• Coordinate demonstrations, campaigns, and tours across multiple cities
• Support campaigners and tour crews with logistics, permits, shipping, and admin
• Write tour reports and help track campaign performance
• Conduct research and analysis on campaign targets
• Stay up to date on news trends related to animal rights
• Work with the creative team to produce eye-catching, provocative campaign materials
• Travel as needed to provide onsite support at demonstrations
• Juggle multiple active projects and prioritize under deadline pressure
• Handle confidential info with professionalism
• Perform additional duties as assigned


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of high-level administrative or project coordination experience
• Strong understanding of animal rights issues and PETA’s mission
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Top-notch research, writing, and analysis skills
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple priorities and stay cool under pressure
• Willingness and ability to travel when needed
• Able to lift/carry up to 20 lbs
• 21+ with valid U.S. driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving experience, and clean record
• Professional appearance and vegan lifestyle
• Fully aligned with PETA’s campaign philosophy and objectives


💻 Remote Requirements
• Must be based in the U.S. and available to travel to demonstrations or events
• Comfortable managing a nontraditional work schedule (Thu–Mon)
• Able to coordinate seamlessly with remote teams
