YMCA of the USA is looking for a detail-driven, mission-aligned HR administrative professional to join their National Office HR Operations team. This fully remote position plays a key role in supporting employee lifecycle events—especially leave of absence, benefits navigation, and workplace accommodations—ensuring an inclusive, smooth experience for all staff across time zones.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Manage leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA, etc.) with compliance and compassion
• Assist employees with health, wellness, and retirement benefit questions
• Coordinate workplace accommodation requests and documentation
• Support full employee lifecycle events (onboarding to offboarding)
• Conduct audits and assist on various HR projects
• Ensure accuracy of employee data in HR systems
• Collaborate across departments and time zones
• Perform other duties as assigned


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred (HR, Business Admin, or related field)
• At least 1 year of HR operations or administrative experience (benefits/leave support a plus)
• Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other compliance policies
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Trustworthy with confidential information
• Comfortable using computers, HR systems, and managing virtual communication
• Alignment with YMCA values and mission
• Collaborative, empathetic, and service-focused
