Cennox is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead its A/R team and oversee the entire lifecycle of receivables—from invoicing and collections to payment posting and process optimization. This is a high-visibility, full-time remote leadership role ideal for someone with a strong accounting background, proven people management skills, and a drive to improve systems and cash flow performance.

📋 What You’ll Own
Team Leadership
• Hire, train, and supervise A/R clerks and specialists
• Assign workloads, monitor performance, and set goals
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment
Billing & Invoicing
• Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing
• Reconcile billing discrepancies across multiple portals
• Resolve invoice-related issues in Oracle and other systems
Collections Oversight
• Enforce A/R collection policies and procedures
• Contact customers with overdue balances; manage escalations
• Work with third parties or legal when collections action is needed
Cash Application Management
• Oversee accurate posting of payments and handling of partials, discounts, and chargebacks
• Ensure timely resolution of cash application discrepancies
Customer Relationship Support
• Address disputes related to billing and payments
• Maintain positive relationships with customers while upholding terms
Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor and analyze A/R aging reports
• Identify payment trends, cash flow risks, and improvement opportunities
• Prepare reports for leadership on team and collections performance
Process Optimization & Compliance
• Drive process improvements for A/R operations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years in Accounts Receivable
• 3+ years in a team leadership or supervisory role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables)
• Experience with Oracle and billing portals preferred
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently and coach a distributed team
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
