🧾 About the Role
Cennox is hiring a remote Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its growing finance team. In this mid-level role, you’ll manage a portfolio of client accounts, resolve billing issues, and partner with internal teams to drive collections, payment accuracy, and dispute resolution—keeping operations smooth and customers supported.
✅ Position Highlights
• Full-time, Mid-level
• Remote (Preferred hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)

• Work closely with VP of Credit and Collections and cross-functional teams
📋 What You’ll Own
• Monitor accounts, review aging reports, and follow up on delinquent balances
• Place accounts on hold/release, manage order reviews, and track collections activity
• Resolve customer disputes and billing errors
• Support payment processing and ensure accurate portal billing
• Coordinate with cash appliers and third-party vendors
• Communicate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service about account status
• Submit credit memos, rebills, and account adjustments
• Maintain clear, accurate ERP notes and documentation
• Assist with month-end reserve review and AR reporting
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
• Experience working with third-party service providers (preferred)
• Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or finance (preferred)
• Experience in the retail industry (a plus)
