🧾 About the Role
One80 Intermediaries is looking for a seasoned Commercial Lines Underwriter to support its Access One80 team. This role is all about relationship-building with agents and brokers, underwriting submissions efficiently, and placing E&S policies across a wide range of commercial classes. You’ll operate within a digital MGA platform that blends speed, authority, and reach, connecting 21,000+ retail agencies to top-tier carriers in the U.S. and UK.

• Base Salary: $51,800–$60,000 + bonus

📋 What You’ll Own
• Underwrite, quote, or decline submissions within defined service windows
• Analyze submissions, determine pricing, coverages, and exclusions
• Collaborate with producers and carriers to gather missing or clarifying info
• Manage back-end underwriting reviews and business audits
• Track open quotes and follow up regularly
• Document all decisions clearly in underwriting systems
• Generate reports for risk analysis and decision-making
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 3–5 years of commercial underwriting experience (E&S preferred)
• 1–2 years of wholesale distribution experience is a big plus
• Strong grasp of loss development, loss analysis, and creative pricing solutions
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Detail-oriented, responsive, and strategic under pressure
