🧾 About the Role
Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is hiring an experienced AR Follow Up Specialist to join our remote team. In this full-time role, you’ll follow up on aged, unresolved insurance claims and help accelerate reimbursement for hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide. If you’re a problem-solver with a knack for navigating complex payer systems, this position puts your skills to work making a real impact on revenue recovery.
✅ Position Highlights
• $20.00 – $25.50/hour (based on experience, location, and other factors)
• Full-time, Remote (U.S. based)
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule
• Medical, Dental & Vision insurance

📋 What You’ll Own
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims via phone and payer websites
• Research and resolve issues causing non-payment
• Accurately document all claim activity and correspondence
• Determine root causes of delays and take action to secure resolution
• Work on patient balances as assigned
• Handle a variety of special projects tied to insurance issues (e.g., network problems, work comp claims)
• Balance competing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2+ years A/R follow-up or insurance collections experience
• Experience in medical billing, hospital claims, or healthcare receivables (preferred)
• Strong research, organization, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable identifying patterns, making decisions, and driving results
• Ability to clearly and concisely document account activity
• 2+ years office experience with research/problem-solving focus
• Prior computer proficiency required
• Must have reliable home internet connection (meets company speed standards)
