Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with professionalism and discretion
- Proven experience attracting, developing and retaining an “A” player workforce and creating a positive atmosphere conducive to productivity
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of the insurance business
- Ability to effectively manage P/L statements
- Proven ability to successfully lead, develop and grow employees
- Ability to prioritize business activities that contribute to top-line and bottom-line growth
- Ability to clearly articulate the company’s value proposition to potential prospects
- Builds collaborative relationships and exhibits influence skills
- Ability to travel within assigned region and to corporate office several times a year
Experience:
- 10+ years’ of successful agency management experience in the insurance industry; required
- Bachelor’s Degree, required; Advanced Degree, preferred
- Current Life and Health license, required
- Must be up to date and knowledgeable on Health Care Reform and health and ancillary insurance products
