💼 About the Role
We’re looking for a Credentialing & Contracts Lead to drive provider enrollment, payer contracting, and regulatory compliance across Nira’s growing clinical network. This position sits at the intersection of operations and revenue cycle strategy—ensuring our providers are credentialed, contracted, and reimbursed without delay.
You’ll lead efforts to maintain payer relationships, reduce credentialing-related denials, and ensure every provider is set up for success. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that requires process ownership, attention to detail, and a knack for navigating healthcare systems.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Credentialing & Enrollment:
Maintain credentialing files, manage expiration timelines, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations - Payer Contracting & Rate Strategy:
Lead payer negotiations, track contract renewal dates, and optimize reimbursement terms across Nira’s provider base - Compliance & Audit Readiness:
Oversee adherence to regulatory requirements and support internal/external audits related to credentialing and payer enrollment - Provider & Payer Relations:
Serve as liaison between physicians, payers, and RCM teams—providing education and resolving credentialing or contract-related issues quickly - Operational Alignment:
Partner with billing, collections, and revenue cycle teams to prevent gaps in reimbursement due to credentialing lags or contracting errors
✅ What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in RCM, provider credentialing, payer contracting, or related healthcare operations
- Strong working knowledge of provider enrollment, reimbursement structures, and payer requirements
- Experience working with payer contracts and interpreting fee schedules
- Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional communication skills
- A proactive mindset and ability to problem-solve independently
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred—or equivalent relevant experience
- Bonus: Experience in a startup or scaling healthcare environment
- Bonus: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification
