Allegiance Benefit Plan Management is hiring a Benefit Plan Compliance Specialist to help ensure our health and welfare benefit plans stay in lockstep with evolving regulations. This fully remote role is ideal for compliance professionals with deep knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and more—offering the chance to work with a mission-driven team that values precision, autonomy, and collaboration.

• $55,000–$60,000 per year
• Full-Time | Exempt
• Fully Remote (U.S. Based)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Research compliance issues across ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and related legislation
• Monitor regulatory updates and provide concise, legally sound guidance
• Review and interpret summary plan descriptions and legal documents
• Communicate findings clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Director of Compliance & Risk Management
• Assist with plan documentation and support cross-departmental efforts
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of experience in health and welfare benefits plan compliance
• Advanced knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, USERRA, IRS Code, and Medicare regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High attention to detail and strong research abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
