Direct Interactions is hiring empathetic, service-driven professionals to support Idaho residents enrolled in public assistance programs. As a Call Center Representative, you’ll help guide individuals through the Employment & Training (E&T) program—offering vital support to those meeting work requirements while navigating benefits. This is a temporary, full-time role with paid training and a strong mission-driven team.
✅ Position Highlights
• Pay: $15.00 per hour
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
• Location: Remote, must live within 30 minutes of Boise, Meridian, or Nampa, ID
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• Biweekly pay via direct deposit
• Paid mandatory training and team meetings
• W2 employment status
📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle inbound calls from Idaho benefit recipients
• Educate callers on E&T work requirements, exemptions, and self-sufficiency resources
• Guide clients through referrals to career coaches, GED programs, resume services, and job search support
• Clarify exemption qualifications (e.g., caregiving, pregnancy, disability) and assist with documentation
• Record interactions in a confidential case management system
• Escalate complex concerns to specialized support teams
• Meet call quality, customer satisfaction, and resolution goals
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Must be a resident of Idaho
• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree or higher preferred)
• 1+ year experience in customer service, call centers, or social services
• Compassionate, calm, and professional communication style
• Excellent verbal skills and active listening
• Comfortable with sensitive conversations
• Familiarity with public assistance programs is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills strongly preferred
• Must pass a background check (paid for by the company)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Desktop (preferred) or true laptop running Windows 11
• High-speed internet via hard-wired Ethernet (no Wi-Fi, mobile hotspots, or satellite internet)
• USB-wired headset with noise-canceling mic
• Operational webcam required
• A second monitor is recommended
