Travel Insured International, a Crum & Forster company, is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to support the Notice of Loss (NOL) intake process. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented, empathetic communicator who thrives in fast-paced, customer-first environments. You’ll work under general supervision and serve as a key touchpoint for travelers during moments that matter—ensuring their claim experience starts off with clarity and care.

• Salary Range: $25,700–$48,200 (based on experience, performance & location)

• Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based only) or Glastonbury, CT

📋 What You’ll Own
• Answer inbound calls on the NOL 800 line and follow scripts to provide empathetic, professional service
• Intake first notices of loss and enter data into the proper claims system
• Record detailed notes on customer interactions, questions, complaints, and actions taken
• Respond to routine claim inquiries accurately and update internal systems accordingly
• Champion customer satisfaction and advocate for resolution in every interaction
• Collaborate with colleagues and support related duties as needed


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 1–2 years of customer service experience
• Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
• Demonstrated empathy and active listening abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation habits
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or GED required
• Familiarity with claims systems and imaging/workflow tools is a plus
• Adaptable, team-oriented, and coachable
