Medical Guardian is seeking compassionate and results-driven Retention Specialists to help support and retain their valued customers. In this fully remote role, you’ll speak with existing clients who may be considering cancellation—working to understand their needs, resolve concerns, and provide value-focused solutions that encourage continued service. It’s a mission-driven position with both heart and hustle.


Position Highlights
• Pay: Not listed (commission-influenced role)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM EST, with weekend rotation
• Location: Remote (must reside in AZ, DE, FL, GA, KY, KS, MA, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, SC, ID, IL, NC, WV, or TX)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Handle daily inbound and outbound retention calls with empathy and urgency
• Engage with customers to address service concerns and renegotiate account terms
• Actively listen to understand and resolve issues that lead to cancellation requests
• Coordinate and implement repricing or plan adjustments for at-risk accounts
• Use CRM tools to document all communication and maintain accurate records
• Support team retention goals and demonstrate strong individual performance
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term loyalty


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Prior call center or phone-based sales/retention experience
• Strong verbal communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Confidence in objection handling and persuasive conversation
• Ability to multitask while using customer management tools
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Computer proficiency with a reliable remote work setup

• Must reside in one of the approved states listed above
• Quiet, private home workspace with high-speed internet
• Ability to work the scheduled shift independently with minimal supervision
• Use of company-provided laptop and headset
